All right, now it's time for a "Gma" tradition. Macy's make-a-wish. Turns hoping into reality. We have helpers that you see right here. They're working on letters to Santa and Macy's is going to donate $1 up to a million dollars for each make-a-wish stamped letter you send to Santa. Just drop it off at a Macy's or submit it online and help those wishes come true for the 17-year-old you're about to meet. . Reporter: Aaliyah's wish is coming true. As she makes her way to the land of the stars. ??? Everybody seems so famous J.T. Reporter: It was over a year and a half ago she was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. Started losing weight. She wasn't eating. Had lost maybe 100 pounds. Reporter: Aaliyah traveled more than 400 miles from her home in Louisiana to Tennessee to receive treatment. When her hair started to fall out mom and daughter got marching haircuts. We actually went at the same time after the first round of chemo. ??? Reporter: Now happy and healthy getting the vip treatment and celebrating her 17th birthday with a tour on the famous rodeo drive and a visit to madame tussauds catching up with Forrest gump. Life is like a box of chocks. ??? 24 carat imagine ink ??? Reporter: Aaliyah's future as bright as the walk of fame. I am so happy. Reporter: When she grows up she wants to become a registered nurse so she can help other children who are sick? Thank you, Macy's and make-a-wish. A Hollywood dream come true in the land of stars. Now, every letter and come on, kids. Let's start putting them in. Every letter that guess into this box raises a dollar and we want to thank all of the children here with us this morning.
