Also burning up the "Heat index." A fashionista's dream come true. A Texas woman who is proudly showing off her brand-new closet. Not house, that's a closet but so what makes this different from yours, you might wonder? Well, it's three floors, it's 3,000 square feet, it's jammed with jewelry, handbags, shoes. Melissa rye cross got lost I think but did try to go on a tour. Take a look. ? ? Reporter: Welcome to my closet. You've probably heard the saying, everything is bigger in Texas. And 52-year-old Teresa Romer's closet is one giant and gleaming example. I just have always had this fascination of beautiful closets because to me my closet is my retreat. You know, I mean, men can have their man caves. I look to look at it as a she cave. Reporter: A closet in her home that took a full year to build. Three floors, 3,000 square feet and the price tag -- how much did the closet alone cost you? Roughly around 500,000. Reporter: Yep, half a million bucks and that's just the closet itself. ? bags and shoes and jewelry. How much does the merchandise alone in this closet cost? Probably close to about 2 million. But we don't want to tell my husband. Whoa. ? first floor is just handbags and jewelry. Reporter: Wow! So here on the second floor we have shoes and the champagne bar and all the clothing and the hair and makeup station. Reporter: He she's a former beauty queen and entrepreneur and mother and swears she's worn every shoe you see. Most every shoe has a signature from the designer. Now we're going to make our way up to the third floor where I have hats and furs and things that I don't wear very often. Reporter: She says she got the idea while throwing fund-raisers at her husband. When she says her female guests constantly insisted on seeing her closet? Why not have a closet so big that I can have fund-raisers in the closet. Now she does just that. But shopping for all those clothes and accessories, she says she leaves that to a personal shopper. Wonder does she wear all that? She said she wore every shoe. Wow. All right.
