That school is in the middle of the most crowded part of the gaza strip, more than 3,000 people seeking refuge there after being told they were unsafe in their homes. According to the U.N., at least three projectiles hit the compound, among the dead, children sleeping next to their parents on a classroom floor. The U.N. Is condemning the attack. The Israeli defense forces say they are looking into it. Overnight Israel also struck five mosques in gaza. The military says those mosques were being used to store weapons and access tunnels. Amy.
