Penn State University is where I work. It is a medical school teaching hospital. It's in Hershey, so it's Penn State University Hershey Medical Center. We have a very active respiratory department here -- we perform research in chronic lung disease, including asthma.
We also have multiple clinical studies going and we also have an up-to-date laboratory that studies obstructive lung disease and a clinic that is up-to-date. In addition, we're part of a large consortium sponsored by the National Institutes of Health to study asthma. It's called the Asthma Clinical Research Network, and it's some of the finest researchers in the world that are participating in this experiment, to determine how patients respond to medications and why.
