High Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia)

To qualify for this study of high cholesterol, you must be 18 or older, have high cholesterol (clinic can provide a free cholesterol check) and currently be using a statin (such as Lipitor, Zocor, Crestor, Pravachol, Mevacor) to control cholesterol. Compensation is available for time and travel.

The research site is in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Breast Pain

If you are a woman 18 or older with breast pain at the time of your menstrual period, you may qualify for this study of an investigational medication. Participants cannot be pregnant now or within the past six months, breast feeding, or using birth control pills. Compensation is available for time and travel.

The research site is in Seattle, Wash.

Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

This trial will evaluate a medication for people with type 2 diabetes, who have never had treatment and are unable to control their blood sugar with diet and exercise.
