Question: What do changes in symptoms reveal about my heart failure?
Answer: Changes in symptoms may be of revealing to us in a sense that if, for example, you cannot do the kinds of activities you were doing before. It takes you, for example, a half a block to be out of breath whereas before it took you a block. That may indicate progression of disease, or that the medication is not as effective and may need to be modified in terms of dosage. So excess fatigue, having additional swelling, activity levels are all important, and may help to assist us in what we need to do next treat you more optimally.
