— -- Question: What else can I do to manage my own heart failure?

Answer: Patients are really responsible for how they do when they have congestive heart failure and can do a lot to improve their health. This includes, of course, diet but also following their weight. If there's some fluid retention, if a patient takes care of it early, it doesn't become a major problem. Certainly having a regimen where medicines are not missed, where a patient can figure out how to take all their medicines regularly is also very important.
