Answer :Sexual activity fits into the category of mild to moderate physical exertion. And again, the ability to be sexually active and to exercise moderately will be determined not by the presence of the defibrillator, but by the presence and extent of underlying heart disease. The vast majority of people who have implantable defibrillators can undergo moderate activity, in terms of exercise, and can participate in normal sexual activity, and there are no special precautions that are required because of the presence of the defibrillator.
