Question: Will I need a catheter after cryosurgery?

Answer: All patients have a catheter following the cryosurgery for two weeks while the prostate gland swelling subsides. And, at two weeks after the treatment, the catheter's removed in the office. In most, all of the patients resume normal urine flow.
