February 1, 2009 -- Question: When should I see a doctor if I experience a medical issue while exercising?

Answer: Well any medical issue that you have during exercise should be addressed by a doctor. If you have shortness of breath or chest pains or even muscular pains, you probably want to see your doctor. If the condition is uncomfortable or if you feel uneasy during exercise then you probably want to just get it checked out by a doctor.

It may not be anything serious, but you don't want to risk having further injuries. We have a lot of folks that tend to wait too long to get checked after an injury or just an uncomfortable feeling in their joints. And then it occurs that it might be even worse.
