— -- Anti-American sentiment in North Korea was on display after the country celebrated its ruling party's 70th anniversary with a lavish military parade and rally.

One 21-year-old woman called the anniversary celebration Saturday the happiest moment of her life. She also echoed statements made by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who said the country was ready to stand up to any threat posed by the United States.

When pressed about what she thought of President Obama, the woman said in English: "It's obvious. You don't know our feeling … I don't think there’s need to mention it."

She later added through a translator: "Words are failing me to express the emotion to the United States."
