Egyptian military personnel are stationed outside one of the two beach resorts were a stabbing attack occurred, in Hurghada, Egypt, July 14, 2017. Two Ukrainian women were allegedly killed and four other female vacationers were wounded after a man attacked them at a beach resort with a knife. The assailant was captured and is now being questioned by police.

At least six tourists were stabbed in a beach resort town along Egypt's Red Sea coast Friday, Egyptian officials said.

According to Egypt's Ministry of Interior, authorities have arrested the suspected attacker and are questioning him. Investigators believe the man swam to a beach in the resort city of Hurghada where he allegedly carried out the attack.
