“The name Aurora comes from the Disney Princess ‘Sleeping Beauty’ which is exactly what Aurora is: a princess and a sleeping beauty!,” the majestic beauty’s human owners, Niklas Berthels and Emily Kaboni, told ABC News.
This fluffy feline is every bit as much of a fair maiden as the original Aurora herself.
With more than 85,000 loyal servants following her highness on Instagram, this almost 3-year-old blue bicolor ragdoll has plenty to boast about.
“Aurora does not only look like a princess on her photo shoots, she acts like one too. In fact, she is one,” said her owners. “Cats are known for being the ruler of the house and Aurora takes that to the next level. She knows she is beautiful, at least that's what her manners imply. It's her way or no way basically.
"The whole idea of her Instagram revolving around her being a princess was inspired a lot by that and not only by her royal beauty.”
And of course Aurora loves wearing her sparkly tiara, fluffy tutus and precious hair bows, “mostly because she knows wearing them means a lot of attention and yummy treats,” her mom and dad explained.
Princess Aurora loves the finer things in life, as any royal should.
“She enjoys doing what most royalties do: eat, sleep and being pampered,” said her daddy. “She has grown to really enjoy having photo shoots as well. Mostly because that means going out for walks, getting a lot of treats as well as attention. Whenever we are out walking with Aurora there are always people stopping us to point out how beautiful she is.”
But she can’t be bothered with all that baby kissing and unnecessary attention from the common peasants. Instead, you can admire her from afar, while she sits high atop her throne as the reigning purr-incess of social media.
