— -- Brian and Rebecca Pepper had everything a couple dreams for at their wedding -- the perfect dress, the perfect location in Tamworth, Australia, and even an antique car at their disposal for their wedding photo shoot.

The scene was wedding perfection until a bull arrived and came charging at the groom.

"Brian certainly has a look of horror on his face in one of the photos as the bull started charging towards him, but horror was overtaken by adrenalin as he powered back at the bull,” said wedding photographer Rachel Deane.

Deane, the owner of Finishing Image Photography, told ABC News that when the bull first began to approach the Peppers from behind, she told them to just continue posing because the bull was, “adding some extra interest to their images.”

Things changed, she says, when the bull came close enough to the couple to sniff the bride’s dress.

“Brian instructed the bull to move away as they were a little worried it may slobber on Rebecca's dress,” Deane recalled. “The bull then started kicking up dust and arching his back in a tiger-like pounce stance.”

“It then started charging towards Brian and Rebecca,” she said.

Luckily for all, both Brian and Rebecca grew up in a rural town and are familiar with being around cattle, according to Deane.

“Brian turned around and started charging back at the bull which startled the bull and the bull ran back up the paddock,” she said.

Deane describes herself as “lucky” to have captured the photos and says they were talk of the wedding reception.

“It made for a great story when we went back to the wedding reception,” she said. “Everyone was curious to see the images.”
