— -- Kids say the darndest things.

Especially little Ryder, whose daddy, Kenny Ong, came up with the brilliant idea to strap a GoPro on the back of his headrest to just “let the camera roll" -- capturing all his son’s silly ramblings for his wife, Nikko, to also enjoy.

“After dropping and picking him up from school he’d always say something that made me crack up and every time I tried to tell Nikko, I could never do it justice,” Ong, 34, told ABC News. “I was always telling Nikko ‘You should hear the stuff Ryder says!’”

That’s where the idea for this hilarious YouTube video called “Stuff Ryder Says” was born, which Ong compiled as a complete surprise for his wife and now has more than 17,000 views.

“I see this as a little time-capsule for him to cherish until he grows to be a man,” Ong, 34, said. “Eventually when I’m old and he’s the one changing my diapers I’ll have something to get a good laugh at.”

Ryder, 3, covers a range of complex topics with statements like “I pick my boogers when I’m asleep” and “Ninja Turtles always do taekwondos.”

His proud parents are “stoked that people find him entertaining,” and warned that the camera is still rolling so more videos are to come.

“Better capture it now before he gets too old and starts making sense,” Ong joked.
