Disney gives fans a sneak peek of new Slinky Dog Dash ride
Disney’s Hollywood Studios gave the first glimpse of a new coaster.
— -- Disney's Hollywood Studios used National Slinky Day to give the world a peek at a new family-friendly coaster featuring one of the most beloved characters from "Toy Story."
The Slinky Dog Dash is part of the all-new, 11-acre Toy Story Land opening at Disney World next summer.
Inspired by Slink, the "Toy Story" Dachshund who has a Slinky for a body, the attraction "will send riders dipping, dodging and dashing around turns and drops that Andy has created to stretch Slinky and his coils to the max," according to a Walt Disney World press release.
Toy Story Land is part of a multi-year transformation of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In 2019, the park will also feature "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge."
