Mom of 6 Has Perfect Reaction to Learning She's Finally Having a Girl

Cher Lair, a mother of six in Apex, North Carolina, was so excited to learn she was finally having a girl that she fell to the floor during her gender reveal party Monday. Video captured her asking "Are they kidding? Is this a joke?" when she saw pink inside the cake at her party.

She told ABC station WTVD-TV that she and her husband had given up on ever having a daughter.

"Initially, on baby three and four I'm thinking, 'They'll be a girl at some point. They can't all be boys.' But after four and five and six, you're kind of thinking, 'Yeah, they can,'" she told WTVD-TV.

While Lair was excited, her 5-year-old son, Houston, seemed less so.

Lair is due to have her first daughter in August, WTVD-TV reported.
