— -- A pilot for Australian airline Qantas took proposing marriage to new heights this weekend during a flight from Melbourne, Australia, to Los Angeles.

After Capt. Dooley Ellis brought the plane up to cruising altitude, he announced over the intercom that there was "a very special passenger on board. Her name is Anna."

Ellis then said Anna was traveling to South America to visit her family, but he wanted to "make sure she comes back to me in Australia."

He added, "So now that I have your complete attention -- ¿Anna, Quieres casarte conmigo? Will you marry me?"

Ellis then came out of the cockpit carrying flowers and a ring. He got down on one knee and popped the question again to Anna in person.
