Wife surprises husband in heartwarming pregnancy announcement

— -- One Nebraska dad was completely surprised to learn he'd be a dad. What's even better is the moment he found out was captured perfectly on camera.

Chelsie and Will Morales wanted to wait a couple years until they had their first child to enjoy married life. And after two years of marriage, Chelsie Morales learned she was expecting and wanted to surprise her child-loving husband.

"I love surprising people," Chelsie Morales, 28, told ABC News. "It's kind of my thing. I've tried capturing it myself in the past and it hasn't worked out great."

With that in mind, Chelsie Morales tapped her high school friend-turned-photographer Kara Fishbaugh to capture the moment in a staged photo shoot.

Will Morales, 31, told ABC News his wife convinced him to do the photo shoot by claiming that the couple had won a photo shoot "off of Instagram," he recalled. Although he was hesitant, he told her, "For you, I'll do it."

When the couple arrived at the photo shoot location in Omaha, Nebraska, Will Morales had no idea what to expect. He definitely didn't expect his wife to turn around, holding a chalkboard sign that read: "You're going to be a daddy."

"My jaw just dropped," Will Morales recalled. "All I could say was, 'Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Are you friggin' kidding me?"

The couple will welcome their first child this February. They're planning to find out if they're having a boy or a girl once their families visit in October.

The mother said that for now, she's looking forward to a new life with her husband and "seeing how our relationship changes and evolves once we add our little human in the mix."

Will Morales added, "She definitely surprised me and we couldn't be more happy for this little baby."
