— -- Forget “tasting the rainbow.” Now you can wear it.

Sarah Bryan, a beautician in Wakefield, England, has created a deliciously delicate dress made of nothing but roughly 4,000 Skittles.

“I was entering a beauty competition and the theme was sweet like beauty,” Bryan, 26, wrote to ABC News of the inspiration behind her tasty gown. “After hours of thinking of ideas while I sat and watched my daughter play in the garden with her multicolored balls, they looked like Skittles and it just came to me!”

It took the extremely patient Bryan nearly 200 hours and 90 tubes of glue to individually stick each Skittle onto the dress, as she tried not to place two of the same colors next to each other.

“Often my eyes would go funny and I would see Skittles everywhere!,” she explained.

The dress was crafted in three different pieces which fit together “to make one fabulous dress,” said Bryan. “It is heavy but as long as it's in correctly I made it very comfortable. I have a very caring nature so my priority has been making it wearable rather than just a dress that is for show.”

The model has worn the dress several times to photo shoots and club openings, proving that Skittles are not only edible, they're durable.

Bryan is planning to auction the dress off to raise money for lymphoma research in honor of her late foster mother.

“She was the only one who didn't give up on me,” she explained. “So a portion of money raised will go to them and the rest to other charities.”

The delectable dress-maker is also hoping to catch the eye of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, two artists known for their off-the-wall sense of style.

“I would like to be able to meet Lady Gaga or Katy Perry to show them pictures or have them wear the dress, which would be amazing,” she said.
