Woman’s Spooky Monster Garage Takes Halloween to the Next Level

— -- An Ohio woman is the talk of her town since transforming her garage into a monster in honor of Halloween.
Amanda Pierson of Parma, Ohio, took five hours to paint craft foam and three hours to hang the eyes and teeth on her garage.
When she hits the button, her monster garage looks like its “mouth” opens and closes.
"People will wave, but until last night, we actually got home and some Boy Scouts were going by and wanted to see the mouth open and close," Pierson told ABC News. "They were really, really excited and they promised to come back trick-or-treating on Halloween."
Pierson decided to create the monster garage after being inspired online, she said.
“I’ve seen some similar things on Pinterest with eyes and teeth,” Pierson told ABC News. “I’m not exactly sure how I decided to put it on the garage, but it’s just what I had in my head. [My husband] knows when to let me go crazy with my crafty whim. He said, 'You make it and I'll help put it up.'"
Pierson posted a video of the monster garage in action on her Facebook page, where it received upward of 25 million views.
On Halloween, she and her husband will set up in the garage so trick-or-treaters can walk through the monster’s mouth before collecting candy.
Today, Pierson made a Facebook page titled "My Monster House" for fans to follow new videos of her creation.
