Obama on Fallon: POTUS ‘slow jams' the news (VIDEO)
— --
President Barack Obama appeared on Tuesday's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," which taped at the Univ. of North Carolina where the "POTUS with the most-us"--as a member of the Fallon's house band, the Roots, called him--was courting the youth vote.
Obama sat for the standard late-night interview ("A couple of knuckleheads shouldn't detract from what they do," Obama said, addressing the Secret Service scandal), but the president got the biggest ovation from the Chapel Hill crowd when he appeared as a guest for Fallon's "Slow Jam the News" segment about his student loan plan.
"I want to slow jam the news," Fallon said introducing the bit, "but I'm not the only one." Obama then emerged from behind the curtain to join the "Late Night" host onstage.
