Wisconsin primary, Obama on GOP budget, plus more to watch for Tuesday in politics

Wisconsin, the District of Columbia and Maryland are holding Republican presidential primaries Tuesday.

Mitt Romney, no doubt, is hoping this is the tipping point in the GOP race for the nomination, but Rick Santorum, his No. 1 challenger, has vowed to stay on no matter what the outcome is. In fact, he has said a convention fight might not be a bad thing.

What's the likely outcome once the votes are counter? Romney looks strong.

Romney will do some last minute campaigning Tuesday in Wisconsin, but Santorum plans to spend the day in his home state of Pennsylvania. Newt Gingrich has no campaign events on his calendar, but his wife, Callista, will be in Delaware stumping for him. And Ron Paul will be in California.

Back in Washington, President Obama is expected to tear into the recently-passed House Republicans' budget plan in a speech at the American Society of News Editors convention.

And then there is this: Michelle Obama will be on NBC's "The Biggest Loser" at 8 p.m. EDT. The first lady appears on a two-part makeover episode of the weight loss show in which contestants are taken to the White House to reunite with their loved ones and take part in the show's first-ever White House workout.
