The Clinton camp counterpunched by circulating a video clip of Obama saying during a January debate on MSNBC that he condemned the pushing of race stories "not only in hindsight, but going forward."

"As Hillary said, our supporters, our staff, get overzealous," Obama said during the January debate. "They start saying things that I would not say."
