October 27, 2008— -- John McCain has ruled out using the Rev. Jeremiah Wright but that is not stopping a conservative political action committee from putting Barack Obama's controversial former pastor in a new television ad.

"For 20 years Barack Obama followed a preacher of hate and said nothing as Wright raged against our country," says the ad's narrator.

"He built his power base in Wright's church," the narrator continues. "Wright was his mentor, adviser and close friend. For 20 years Obama never complained -- until he ran for president. Barack Obama. Too radical. Too risky."

Per ABC's Rick Klein, the National Republican Trust PAC is putting $2.5 million behind the ad which will air in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida -- the three most populous battleground states. The ad features now-famous video of Wright declaring "God damn America" and the "US of KKKA."

Washington Picks Its First Senator

Democrats got a big step closer to knocking off Ted Stevens in Alaska on Monday when a jury in Washington, D.C., found the veteran senator guilty on seven counts of failing to report gifts. Sentencing by Judge Emmet Sullivan has been set for sometime in January.

ATF Foils Neo-Nazi Plot to Kill Obama

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms has arrested two neo-Nazis for an alleged plot to assassinate Barack Obama, reports ABC's Jack Date.

The plotters were also planning to kill 88 individuals by gunfire and 14 African Americans by decapitation a federal law enforcement sources tells ABC News.

The numbers 88 and 14 are significant in the neo-Nazi movement.

Fourteen represents the fourteen words "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children," according to a law enforcement source.

Eighty-eight represents "Heil Hitler", H being the 8th letter in the alphabet.

The suspects, Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman, were arrested in Tennessee after Crockett County Sherriff's received a tip from the Haywood County Sheriff's Department. The plotters admitted to investigators that they were planning to rob a gun shop to steal weapons for their killing spree. Their final act was to be the killing of Obama who delivered his "closing argument" on Monday in Canton, Ohio. Investigators say the men had several weapons, including a FASI .308 rifle and sawed off shotguns.
