— -- As Hurricane Irma approached Florida on Saturday, President Donald Trump and members of his cabinet met at Camp David for an update on the storm delivered by Elaine Duke, Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

In remarks delivered to the cabinet at the beginning of the meeting, President Trump warned people to "get out of" Hurricane Irma’s way.

“It's a storm of enormous destructive power and I ask everyone on the storm path to heed all instructions. Get out of its way,” said Trump. “Property is replaceable but lives are not and safety has to come first. Don't worry about it, get out of its way.”

A video released by the White House of Trump’s briefing inside Laurel Lodge at Camp David showed Trump flanked by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and posters of Florida with projections of the storm’s path.

“My administration is monitoring the situation around the clock and we're in constant communication with all of the governors, with state and local officials,” said Trump. “We're doing everything possible to help save lives and support those in need--again we've never seen anything like this.”

The President, who remained largely quiet on Twitter Saturday, tweeted a video of Florida Governor Rick Scott. “Heed the advice of @FLGovScott!” wrote Trump. Scott said during a press conference today that he has been talking to President Trump “pretty much every day.”

Hurricane Irma wasn’t the only topic discussed at the fourth gathering of Trumps’ Cabinet during his presidency. Trump said he would also be discussing the latest on North Korea and tax reform.

"Today our cabinet will also be discussing the latest provocative and destabilizing actions of North Korea and the steps the United States will take to keep our people safe. And frankly, to keep the people of the world safe in this case," said Trump.
