Before we heard from secretary of reports and dire warnings coming from administration to take -- a -- We've heard about more wildfires more workplace that's higher risk terrorism criminal set free is there -- exaggeration going on here. I think all of those things come from reduce speed -- -- numbers of people fighting fires. You know reduced numbers of people for doing inspections of our food. Reduced numbers of people. To put this you know engaging in air traffic control and isn't just the facts John. The way to squeeze 3% of the federal budget that we I think we we we -- this -- yesterday the fact of the matter is that you -- talking about 13%. Cut. In our defense budget -- -- 9% cut in our non defense discretionary budget. This year. And there is no way to do that based on the way the laws written without having. Hugely negative impacts on. Individuals and families. Yeah furloughs would have -- -- layoffs would have to happen that is -- -- and it's not just us things right you don't believe us. Maybe you believe the CDO. Maybe you believe macroeconomic advisors -- Moody's -- -- that you know they have projected. Fully half a percentage point reduction in GDP growth and you know could you cover this stuff what that means economically they have projected. Three quarters of -- million. Presidents. Very reasonable offer remains on the table because he wants to avoid this. Let's just again go back to my basic point it is not an easy sell to Democrats to go along as part of a big deal. With superlative CPI is not an easy argument necessarily to get Democrats to go along with the reforms the president's put place pace put in place in his proposal on. -- won't go with the spending cuts it was not easy is signed into law one point one trillion dollars in spending cuts but he has done it and Democrats have done it. And what we haven't seen from Republicans. Is anything equipment and we're just looking for negotiating partner here we're just looking for somebody to meet -- halfway.
