ABC NEWS ANNOUNCES “YOUR VOICE, YOUR VOTE” COVERAGE OF THE IOWA CAUCUS AND NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARY ON FEBRUARY 1 AND FEBRUARY 9
— -- ABC News announces “Your Voice, Your Vote” coverage of the Iowa Caucus on Monday, February 1 and the New Hampshire Primary on Tuesday, February 9 beginning at 8 p.m., ET. Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos will lead coverage for the network with special reports in primetime from Election Headquarters in New York setting the stage and announcing results and winners. Stephanopoulos will anchor “Good Morning America” from Des Moines, Iowa on February 1 and from Manchester, New Hampshire on February 9. “Good Morning America” Anchor Robin Roberts will anchor from Iowa with Stephanopoulos on February 1.
David Muir will anchor “World News Tonight” from Des Moines on Sunday, January 31 and Monday, February 1 and from Manchester on Tuesday, February 9. Muir will report on the race during the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary.
Dan Harris and Juju Chang will anchor special wrap up editions of “Nightline” on Monday, February 1 and Tuesday, February 9.
The ABC News political team including Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl, “World News Tonight” Saturday Anchor and Senior National Correspondent Cecilia Vega and “World News Tonight” Sunday Anchor Tom Llamas will report on the latest news and developments from Iowa and New Hampshire. Correspondent David Wright will report from Iowa, and Correspondent Linsey Davis will report for a series on the candidate spouses for all programs and platforms. Special Correspondent and Senior Strategic Advisor Matthew Dowd and Contributor Donna Brazile will provide analysis.
ABC News will offer special coverage of the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary at ABCNews.com and across ABC News’ mobile, social and OTT platforms from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., ET. ABC’s correspondents and digital journalists will provide live reports from both states and offer analysis, updates and live streams throughout the day leading into the evening’s live anchored coverage. Also, Dowd and Contributor LZ Granderson will host digital show “Strait Talk” on both nights starting at 7 p.m., ET and then following results.
ABC News Radio will provide live coverage of the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary beginning at 8:06 p.m., ET and continue through at least 11 p.m., ET each night. ABC News Correspondent Aaron Katersky will anchor from Des Moines and Manchester and be joined by the following: Radio Correspondents Jim Ryan and Mark Remillard, Political Director Rick Klein, Political Analysts Steve Roberts and Trey Hardin, and Digital Journalist Brad Mielke. ABC News Radio will provide one minute status reports during both evenings.
ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, will provide live reports from Iowa and New Hampshire with NewsOne Correspondents Marci Gonzalez and Brandi Hitt and Multi-Platform Reporters Kenneth Moton and Lana Zak starting in Iowa and continuing through the New Hampshire Primary for more than 200 ABC affiliates and international partners. ABC News Political Analyst Cokie Roberts will provide analysis for affiliates as well.
