I’m very pleased to announce that Maggie Rulli is joining our on-air team here in the DC Bureau as a Multi-Platform Reporter.
Maggie joins us from Channel One News, where she was a reporter based in New York. She was on the ground in Iran during the nuclear deal negotiations, in Paris for the dramatic aftermath of the terrorist attacks, and in Cuba immediately following renewed diplomatic relations with the United States. Closer to home she has interviewed First Lady Michelle Obama, taken an in-depth look at youth homelessness in America, and reported on the state of nuclear weapons in the U.S.
Maggie graduated summa cum laude from Boston College where she was honored with the Lawton Award as the school’s most outstanding communications major. As a student, she contributed to B.C’.s cable television network as an anchor, reporter and executive producer. Even though she is in the process of moving to DC, Maggie will forever remain faithful to her hometown sports teams, the Boston College Eagles and the Red Sox.
Maggie joins an outstanding group of Multi-Platform Reporters who deliver insightful reporting and innovative content for our audiences on a daily basis. She will spend the next couple of weeks training in New York before arriving here in DC in early July.
Please join me in welcoming Maggie Rulli to ABC News.
