“Nightline” is #1 in Total Viewers for Fourth Straight Week

Season to Date “Nightline” Leads CBS Across the Board

ABC News’ “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.544 million) for the 4th consecutive week during the week of November 9, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” beat CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.155 million) by 389,000 and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.493 million) by 51,000.

“Nightline” also beat CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in both Adults 25-54 (+129,000 – 608,000 vs. 479,000) and Adults 18-49 (+55,000 – 465,000 vs. 410,000).

“Nightline” owned the Top 3 telecasts of the week with its Thursday (1.683 million - 11/12/15), Monday (1.675 million – 11/9/15) and Friday (1.668 million – 11/13/15) airings, ahead of every telecast of the week of CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

Season to date, “Nightline” leads CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden” across the board: Total Viewers (+334,000), Adults 25-54 (+130,000) and Adults 18-49 (+70,000).

ABC News’ “Nightline” is anchored by Dan Harris, Juju Chang and Byron Pitts. Roxanna Sherwood is executive producer, and Steven Baker is Senior Broadcast Producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Together with “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Nightline” is part of ABC’s winning late night strategy of airing news and entertainment programming.
