text: Tyler, The Creator AKA Tyler Gregory Okonma is no stranger to a bit of controversy. But when the American rapper was arrested on Saturday at a Texas airport for allegedly inciting a riot at the SXSW festival, he went “without incident,” according to Austin police.

Police say the whole affair began Thursday at a local entertainment venue when Okonma allegedly yelled at the crowd beyond the concert gates to push through. After hundreds of people swarmed into the already-full venue, a bartender was forced to protect one woman from the stampede, witnesses said.

Okonma has been charged with Riot-Class A Misdemeanor, and has a bond of $25,000.
