— -- BATON ROUGE, La. --  LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has been treated for prostate cancer but plans to coach during the upcoming season.

Cameron and Tigers coach Les Miles addressed the media and discussed Cameron's prognosis after Friday's practice.

"These last few weeks, just the support from this program and our players and Coach Miles and our staff, I've never experienced anything quite like it," Cameron said.

A source said Cameron was diagnosed during preseason camp, and Miles said Cameron did not miss any practice time while being treated.

Cameron, 54, is entering his third season as the Tigers' offensive coordinator.
