Michael Bennett honoring teammate

— -- Ohio State defensive lineman Michael Bennett wore No. 53 on Saturday night against Wisconsin (No. 13 CFP, No. 11 AP) to honor late teammate Kosta Karageorge.

Bennett, who was a pallbearer during Karageorge's funeral Wednesday, normally wears No. 63.

Karageorge was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head Sunday. He had been missing since Nov. 26.

Karageorge's mother told police he'd had several concussions and a few spells of extreme confusion. A coroner says a special examination will look for signs of traumatic brain injury related to concussions.

Karageorge joined the Buckeyes (No. 5 CFP, No. 6 AP) this season as a walk-on. He also was on the wrestling team for three years.
