Navy unveils modernized 1963 throwbacks for game vs. Army

— -- Army and Navy will both look sharp when they play in front of President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday in Baltimore. After Army released its? 82nd paratrooper-inspired uniforms on Monday, Navy answered by unveiling 1963 throwbacks on Tuesday.

Navy's throwbacks honor the 1963 team that went 9-2, won the Army-Navy game and faced Texas in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Day. The pants and helmet color will be "Academy Gold" and the uniform has both old and new features.

A closer look at the "Beat Army" uniforms, designed by Under Armour, shows a modernized anchor design.?

The jerseys also include a block "N" with four stars on each shoulder, just as Navy wore in 1963.?

Navy will try to extend its winning streak over Army to 15 games. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET?on Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium.
