Phoenix places pair on injured list to get roster to 12

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns reduced their roster to the NBA limit of 12 players on Monday by placing Zarko Cabarkapa and Paul Shirley on the injured list. The Suns said Cabarkapa, a second-year forward, has left knee tendinitis, and Shirley, who made the team as a free agent, has back spasms. The players must miss the first five games, and will be eligible to return Nov. 13 against Sacramento.
