Soccer-Depor's Cesar to replace injured Helguera in Spain squad

MADRID, March 29 - Spain coach Inaki Saez has called up Deportivo Coruna centre-back Cesar for the squad to play Denmark in a friendly on Wednesday after Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera pulled out through injury. Helguera sustained a groin injury during his side's 5-1 victory over Sevilla at the Bernabeu on Sunday. Cesar last played for Spain in their 3-0 victory over Norway in the second leg of their Euro 2004 playoff in November. His Deportivo team mate Joan Capdevila was also called into the squad at the end of last week for the match in Gijon after Barcelona defender Carles Puyol withdrew because of a stomach injury.
