— -- Gaffin led the team with eight RBIs and a 1.077 slugging percentage for the week while helping Tennessee remain undefeated at home (17-0) and post its third SEC series sweep this year. She had a hit in all four games and had multiple hits in three of the four. Gaffin went a perfect 3-for-3 and hit a grand slam while setting a new career high with six RBIs in UT's series clinching win over the 10th ranked Aggies on Saturday. She also posted a 2-0 record in the pitcher's circle with a win over Kennesaw State on Tuesday and another in the series-opener against Texas A&M on Friday. In Tuesday's start against the Owls, Gaffin gave up only one hit in four innings. She threw 6.1 innings and struck out eight batters on Friday to improve to 8-3 this season.

Nunley got Kentucky a 1-0 win at No. 8 LSU on Saturday night in the series opener, going the complete 7.0 innings on five hits, not allowing a run and striking out six Tiger batters. She now has a 1.03 ERA on the season and moves to 14-4 on the season. Nunley's shutout was the fifth of her 2016 season, and helped UK to win game one of the series. UK would go on to clinch the series on Sunday night - marking the first time that Kentucky has ever won a series in Baton Rouge against LSU.

DiCarlo led Georgia in three wins over No. 14 Missouri after notching a .643 batting average with nine hits, including three home runs. She had multi-hit performances in all four of last week's games, including a 3-for-3 effort in game two against the Tigers where she hit a career-best two home runs in the game. DiCarlo finished the weekend in Columbia with a .700 average, going 7-for-10 with six RBI and a 1.600 slugging percentage.
