— -- Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight was knocked out of the Sooners' 48-14 loss to  Baylor after he was driven into the turf on a sack early in the fourth quarter.

Knight was down on the field for several minutes, with members of both teams coming out to check on the redshirt sophomore quarterback. He was eventually immobilized on a board and carted off the field.

Multiple Baylor players, including quarterback Bryce Petty, prayed in the middle of the field with Knight's brother, Connor, while Trevor Knight was being tended to by medical staff. Knight did appear to move some of his extremities after the hit.

An OU spokesperson said Knight left the facility after the game under his own power and will undergo further evaluation later Saturday.

Knight was 12 of 27 for 146 yards with two touchdowns and one interception before the injury, which occurred with 11:11 remaining in the game and Oklahoma trailing 41-14.
