Williams breaks leg in win over Seahawks
— -- ST. LOUIS -- Rams cornerback Aeneas Williams is expected to be out for the season after breaking his left leg and badly spraining his ankle in St. Louis' game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Surgery on Williams' broken shinbone could happen as early as Sunday night, a team spokesman said. The spokesman said there was no timetable for Williams' return. Williams was injured by a helmet hit to his leg late in the game. Play was stopped for several minutes, and players from both teams surrounded Williams. He was helped onto a cart by two teammates and was crying as the cart drove off. Williams, a seven-time Pro Bowl pick, is in his 12th NFL season.
