Virgin Atlantic has released its first iPhone application, but it has nothing to do with booking tickets or checking your flight. The airline is putting its Flying Without Fear course on the device. The app includes relaxation and fear therapy exercises, frequently asked questions, and a video that explains a flight from start to finish. There's even a Fear Attack button for emergencies that offers breathing exercises and quick tips. Virgin claims the course has a 98 percent success rate. They say it even helped actress Whoopi Goldberg recently overcome her fear of flying. The app costs $4.99.
