— -- The iPod Classic is the best-known and most familiar iPod. Available in 80GB and 160GB models, the newest incarnation is the largest-capacity iPod and one of the few media players that can hold your entire music, video and game library.

Despite its large capacity, the iPod classic is surprisingly sleek, with a width of just 10.5mm. With its superior integration to the iTunes Music Store, the device lets you buy and download a wide variety of content -- music, music videos, podcasts, TV shows, movies and games.

In addition to increased capacity, the iPod classic introduces software enhancements that make the device easy to use. For the first time, the device includes a split screen that lets users browse their content more efficiently. Similar to the iPhone and the iPod touch, the iPod classic also includes the new "cover flow" technology that lets you flip through music, based on album art.

The iPod classic also includes other tools -- a world time clock, an alarm, an address book, a calendar, a stopwatch and games. The iPod classic can also act as a hard-drive, by simply enabling disk use for backup or content portability purposes.

Starting at $249 for the 80GB model and $349 for the 160GB model, the iPod classic is available in two colors -- gray and black.
