'Eat Lead': Gamer profiles of the stars

Will Arnett and Neil Patrick Harris supply the main voices in Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard. Here they talk about when they started playing video games, what their favorites are, and what they played last night.

WILL ARNETT

How old were you when you started playing video games? "The first time I really owned a system and started gaming was maybe when I was 17. I think it was a Nintendo. I remember playing Tecmo Super Bowl. They had that out pattern if you had John Elway as your quarterback, it was always a touchdown."

Favorite game growing up: "Probably the game I played the most up until a couple years ago was any of the NHL hockey games. I am a big hockey fan, and I felt like they just were the most fluid of all the games."

Game style: Twitch or think? "A little bit of both. When I played one of the zombie games, it was just too much fast-action killing and not enough strategy. At least with any of the Call of Duty games, I like that you have to employ a little bit of strategy."

"Last night I played …" "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare with some of my buddies online."

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS

How old were you when you started playing video games? "I was probably 6 or 7 when we had an Intellivision, which was a video-game system back in the day. We were very cool on our block."

Favorite game growing up: "I loved Myst. There was no time limit, and there were no weapons or weapon packs to acquire. You just went around and solved puzzles. It was very immersive. Loved it."

Game style: Twitch or think? "I would be much more of a thinking games player. I never know with the weapons. Do you immediately use the best weapon you have until you are out of ammo and then switch to the smaller weapon, or is the opposite true? These are questions I have yet to answer."

"Last night I played …" "MotionX Poker Quest. I'm an iPhone guy. I love the $2 games. I love the iApps. You can download them, play them for a spell and be done with it."
