June 15, 2011 — -- In today's TechBytes: Google is adding features to its searches.

Anyone using Google's Chrome browser will soon be able to speak their requests.

The feature will roll out in the next few days and eventually come to other browsers.

Mobile users can now click on icons to find nearby restaurants, gas stations, ATM's and more.

Galaxy 10.1 Tablet

When Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 goes on sale later this week, it will be the thinnest and lightest large screen tablet on the market.

But as the Wall Street Journal's Katie Boehret pointed out, it may take more than that to unseat the iPad 2.

"It's very sleek looking. It has a beautiful touchscreen with HD resolution and some nice speakers on either side of the screen. But the apps are where it's at. The iPad 2 simply has hundreds of thousands more apps, and you'll be able to do more with it."

The Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy 10.1 will retail for $500 to $600.
