May 16, 2011— -- In today's TechBytes: the Sony PlayStation network is back . . . almost. A massive security breach last month affected a hundred million users of the online videogame network. However, Sony says on Twitter this morning that a high volume of password-reset requests is now slowing down the network.

Thanks to technology, a miracle this weekend at the University of California Berkeley. Senior Austin Whitney was paralyzed four years ago in an auto accident, but thanks to an exoskeleton -- a computerized body brace developed by Berkeley's engineering department -- Whitney was able to walk Saturday to get his diploma. Some day soon, others may be able to reach that stage, too.
