Known for rescinding the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday in Arizona, his one term ended in impeachment in 1988.

Rev. James Orange, 65 -- Civil Rights Activist

An aide to Martin Luther King Jr., his arrest in Alabama led to the Selma-to-Montgomery march; he later organized for the AFL-CIO.

Robin Moore, 82 -- Author

Best known for "The French Connection" and "The Green Berets," he was called a "devoted advocate" for the Special Forces.
