Why All These People Jumped Into the Pool

It's hard to imagine much heat relief could be found among the thousands of people who packed this pool, but that's just what these swimmers were seeking.

Over the weekend, the temperature in Suining, China, topped 100 degrees. Then this happened at the Chinese Dead Sea tourist resort.

According to the China Dead Sea resort web site, visitors will "quietly on the sea, to enjoy the sun, to enjoy the fresh sea breeze blowing."

Maybe when the heat wave ends. Until then, swimmer soup.
