Police in Southampton, N.Y., are investigating claims that Bieber ordered his entourage to beat up club-goer Wayne Rennalls, 22, after the man followed a waitress into the VIP section Bieber was in to ask for his bowtie back.

The singer allegedly got into a heated verbal exchange with the man, who was reportedly sent to the hospital with a black eye and bruised ribs after the singer's guards got involved.

Bieber took to Twitter on Monday to dismiss the reports, posting: "The most recent rumors might be the funniest of all. Where do u get this stuff??? #focusedonreality."media: 19756963
