The former NFL star, 57, is back with a second act, and you might have caught it on ABC’s “Shark Tank” in December when he persuaded a panel member to invest in the Baker family’s QueenAnn Inc., purveyors of, what else, “Bubba’s-Q Boneless Ribs.” So the defensive end whom Sports Illustrated included among the greatest pass rushers in NFL history has pivoted from his patented football moves to patented deboned baby back rib steaks.

The former major league outfielder, 37, once told ESPN that his efforts to shake the "Bubba" moniker failed miserably as a boy in Texas. "I tried to change it in school, call myself Richard, but kids would call for me and ask for Richard, and my parents would burst out laughing and say, 'You mean Bubba?'"
