A couple of inches of snow brought Atlanta to its knees, grinding travel to a halt and closing schools.
While officials in Georgia are on the defensive, trying to explain why Atlanta was so ill-prepared for the storm, people on Twitter had some fun at the expense of southerners unaccustomed to icy weather.
"There's probably enough Lincoln navigators or escalades in Atlanta that have 4 wheel drive c'mon," @tayyywow wrote.
And check out this meme, showing a "spin-off" of AMC's "The Walking Dead" called "One Inch of Snow."
Deport Justin Bieber Petition
Baby, baby, oh baby! The deport Justin Bieber petition has collected more than 100,000 signatures, which means the White House will review the humble request of the masses.
While we're waiting for the official word, people on Twitter seem to have an opinion.
"We could send you Miley Cyrus too. That way #Canada will have the matched set...a twerk and jerk," Thirty Birdy wrote.
"I have mixed feelings, because I don't want him here, but I don't want to do that to Canada.. so hmm," @Katie_Lohaus33 wrote.
Others thought the petition was a waste of time.
"A lot of haters with nothing else to do. Let the Bieber be," @negativodowner wrote.
Super Bowl Ads

It's the most wonderful time of the year for the advertising brains working on Madison Avenue.
Super Bowl ads cost an estimated $4 million for 30 seconds during the big game this year, according to the Associated Press.
Judging by the ads released ahead of Sunday's game, it looks like the Super Bowl sideshow is going to be full of buzzworthy moments.
The men of "Full House" stopped by "Good Morning America" earlier this week ahead of their Super Bowl ad debut for Dannon Oikos yogurt.
