Tropical Storm Sandy is forecast to become a hurricane today, with winds reaching 65 miles per hour overnight. A hurricane warning is in effect for Jamaica and several Cuban provinces.

2. 59.2M Watched Third Presidential Debate

An estimated 59.2 million people tuned in to watch the final debate between President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney on Monday night. This number is down from the first debate, which an estimated 67.2 million viewers tuned in to watch.

3. Dow Has Lowest Close Since June

The Dow had its lowest close since June and its biggest drop for 2012 on Tuesday, sparked by disappointing earnings from several key corporations. Despite Wall Street's bad day, the Dow is still up 7 percent for the year.

The cat had been injured but is now back home.
